Kathy Keats Coaching Series

Sadly, the 2016 November sessions mark the end of the Coaching Series.  In 2003, we started bringing Kathy in to be our coach - someone who would get to know us, our dogs, our strengths & our weaknesses - and develop a program of drills & skills to help us improve on those that we already had, help us understand & implement the new techniques as well as how to be mentally prepared for whatever we faced.  We will miss our sessions with Kathy but she assures us that we have outgrown what she can teach us & as our coach, has to push us on to new adventures.

Limited Entry Trials

We aim for approximately 300-350 runs per day. However, we reserve the right to limit the entries to what we consider a manageable number.
Entries postmarked after the opening date and before the closing date will be considered in this order:

  1. Troopers
  2. Guaranteed Spot Prizes (GSP) & Free Weekend Package Certificates (FWPC).
    • The GSPs and FWPCs must be included with your entry. There are no expiry dates on these certificates - they will be honoured as long as we continue to hold trials.
  3. Entries that ended up on the waiting list for the previous trial.
  4. First time competitors &/or starters dogs (to keep the sport growing).
  5. Volunteering - because of the overwhelming response to our trials, volunteers and hard workers will be given special consideration as they are what keep the trials moving along while still having a good time.
If we have not reached our manageable runs limit with 1-5, we will draw randomly from the remaining entries.  If we have to create a waiting list, any trial openings will be offered to competitors in the order of the postage date stamp or mark on the entry envelopes.

The Fine Print
Training Troop reserves the right to refuse any entry.
Anyone not in good standing with AAC or Training Troop will not be allowed entry.

Mailed entries only.
Only competitors that actually live at the same address will be considered all together, should a random draw be necessary.
Envelopes requiring a signature or pick up from the post office will be ignored.
Entries postmarked before the opening date, or after the closing date, &/or E-mailed entries may not be accepted (dependent on whether our manageable runs limit has been reached).

Cheques are made out to Training Troop and dated no later than the closing date.
Refunds will not be given for cancellations after the closing date except for bitches in season or injury to a dog or handler which physically prevents them from competing.
Refunds requested for any other reason than the above will be handled on a case by case basis and will be at the discretion of Training Troop.

A $10 administration fee will be applied to any refund request received after the closing date. There will be a $25 charge on NSF cheques.

NOTE: By AAC rules, entries are not valid until payment of entry fees has been received or confirmed.
